Oilers Close Regular Season at Walsh
The Oilers will close their regular season on the road at Walsh University. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 23 in Canton, Ohio.

Series Information
The Oilers hold a 20-7 lead in the all-time series against Walsh dating back to the 1964-65 campaign when Findlay came away with a 77-71 victory.
Earlier this season the Oilers came away with a last-second win over the Cavaliers in Croy Gymnasium on Jan. 30 as Taren Sullivan tipped in a missed jumper late in the game to secure the victory. Findlay shot 54 percent (34-of-63) from the floor and made 14-of-27 (51.9%) shot attempts from behind the three point line in the win. The Cavaliers meanwhile hit 59.3 percent (35-of-59) of their shot attempts, which included a blistering 67.9 percent (19-of-28) shooting clip in the second half.
Martyce Kimbrough paced the Oilers with 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting while Elijah Kahlig recorded 17 points. Sullivan finished the game with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Trey Smith came off the bench to provide a career-high 13 points while Tyler Stern-Tucker had eight points, five assists and four rebounds in the win.
Findlay
The Oilers are 20-5 on the season with a 15-4 record in conference play. Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough and junior forward Taren Sullivan have been carrying the scoring load for Findlay this season and are both ranked in the top-ten of the GLIAC in points per game average.
Kimbrough is averaging 20.2 points per contest, the fourth-best mark in the league, while Sullivan ranks seventh with 17.4 points per game. The duo has spearheaded one of the top offensive attacks in the league as the Oilers rank third in scoring at 85.0 points per game.
The Oilers are making 41.4 percent (271-of-655) of their three point attempts this season, the best percentage in the GLIAC. They are also making 10.4 three pointers per game, which is the best mark in the league.
Sullivan is making a team-high 47.8 percent (54-of-113) of his triple tries and is followed closely by junior guard Elijah Kahlig, who is converting 45.0 percent (68-of-151) of his shot attempts from behind the three point line. Kimbrough is canning 44.6 percent (104-of-233) of his three point attempts as well. Sullivan leads the GLIAC in three point shooting percentage while Kahlig and Kimbrough rank sixth and eighth, respectively, in the GLIAC.
Kimbrough is making 4.0 three pointers per game, the best mark in the GLIAC. His 104 made triples this season is the top mark in the GLIAC and is the second-best total in NCAA Division II men's basketball.
Kahlig meanwhile is connecting on 2.6 three pointers per game, the sixth-best mark in the league, while Sullivan is splashing 2.1 triples per contest. Sullivan's 2.1 three pointers per game is the 17th-best mark in the conference.
Walsh
The Cavaliers are 16-10 on the season with a 9-10 record in conference play. They are coming off of an 87-86 win at Tiffin on Feb. 18.
The Cavaliers are scoring 82.5 points per contest and have been led by Zac Carter, who is averaging 24.6 points per outing. Carter is is also contributing 3.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Trey Fletcher is scoring 22.1 points and grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game while Jameel Moore is recording 11.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for Walsh.
Chandler Vaudrin is also having a good season as he is averaging 6.7 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game.
Chasing Records
The Oilers have made 271-of-655 three point attempts this season. The school record for most made three pointers in a season is 285, which was set during the 1995-96 campaign. That team also set a school record for most three point shots attempted with 751.
Earlier this season, the Oilers tied a school record with 19 triples in their 105-87 win over Tiffin on Feb. 16. Findlay also hit 19 three pointers in a 108-63 win over Glenville State on Nov. 17, 1995.
1,000-Point Club
Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough and junior forward Taren Sullivan are looking to become the Oilers 45th and 46th members of the 1,000-point club.
Kimbrough has 973 career points for the Oilers in only 54 career games. He has averaged 18.0 points per outing for Findlay during his tenure with the program.
Sullivan meanwhile has accumulated 934 career points in 77 games, an average of 12.1 points per contest.
GLIAC Players of the Week
The Oilers have had two players earn GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honors this season. Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough earned the honor on Dec. 12 and again on Feb. 20 and junior forward Taren Sullivan has captured the award four times (Jan. 9, Jan. 23, Feb. 6, Feb. 13).
Kimbrough earned his honor by averaging 33.0 points per game in the Oilers contests against Northwood (Dec. 8) and Lake Superior State (Dec. 10). He scored He scored 28 points and hit six three pointers in the Oilers 91-73 victory over Northwood and then followed with 38 points and eight triples in Findlay's 90-85 loss to Lake Superior State. He also won the honor on Feb. 20 after averaging 35.0 points per game in the Oilers wins over Tiffin (Feb. 16) and Ashland (Feb. 18). He scored 41 points and canned a school record 11 triples in the win over Tiffin and then followed with 29 points in the Ashland game.
Sullivan meanwhile has captured the award four times. He earned the honor the first time by leading the Oilers to three wins over Carlow (Jan. 2), 6th-ranked Saginaw Valley State (Jan. 5) and Wayne State (Jan. 7). He averaged 12.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals per game in the three victories.
Sullivan's second award came when he averaged 21.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in Findlay's wins over Ohio Dominican (1/19) and Lake Erie (1/21). He earned the honor again on Feb. 6 after averaging 21.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game in Findlay's wins over Walsh (1/30) and Hillsdale (2/2). His fourth one came on Feb. 13 when he averaged 23.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game in wins over Ohio Dominican (2/9) and Lake Erie (2/11).
