Oilers Climb to 18th in National Poll

The University of Findlay men's basketball team climbed to 18th in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Feb. 28.

The Oilers are 22-5 on the season and have won six straight contests. They have been led by juniors Martyce Kimbrough and Taren Sullivan, who are both among the league leaders in scoring average. The duo has spearheaded one of the top offensive attacks in the league as the Oilers rank third in scoring at 85.1 points per game.

Findlay, who has appeared in the NCAA Division II top-25 poll in 16 out of the past 17 years, returns to the hardwood again tonight when they host Grand Valley State University in the opening round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament.
