Oilers Ranked 25th in Final NABC Poll

The University of Findlay men's basketball team finished 25th in the final National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on March 7.

The Oilers, who will be making their 13th appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament this weekend in Louisville, Ky., have a 23-6 record on the season. Their first round opponent, Southern Indiana, is ranked 16th in the final poll of the year.

The 2017 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional will feature five teams ranked in the top-25. Bellarmine, who is hosting the event, is ranked second and is followed by Kentucky Wesleyan, who is ranked fifth. Ferris State is ranked 14th and is followed by Southern Indiana, who is ranked 16th. Findlay is then ranked 25th.
