Gardner, Smith, Kahlig Honored by NABC

Austin Gardner, Ricardo Smith and Elijah Kahlig were all named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on July 18 for their performance in the classroom during the 2016-17 campaign.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics. The student-athletes must be a junior or senior and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Gardner will be a senior next season and is majoring in sport and event management. Smith completed his eligibility and majored in marketing while Kahlig will be entering his senior season and is working to complete a degree in finance and accounting.
