The University of Findlay men's basketball program announced the signing of Dondre Palmer on Nov. 9.

Palmer is a four-year letter winner at Pickerington North High School in Pickerington, Ohio. He was named all-Ohio Capital Conference and honorable mention all-district as a junior.

"We have always valued players that come from winning programs and do whatever it takes to win," said head coach Charlie Ernst. "Dondre consistently displayed these qualities in every game he played and his unselfishness, work ethic and character will make him a great fit in our program."

Palmer, a 6-5, 185-pound forward, averaged 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals per game last year.

"The University of Findlay is getting a special basketball player," said high school coach Jason Bates. "His versatility allows him to score inside and out and he also has the ability to guard multiple positions. He is  a winner and I guarantee #OilerNation will love watching him play."
