Sullivan Earns Weekly Great Midwest Honors

Senior forward Taren Sullivan was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Week for the second time this season on Dec. 11 by the league office. Sullivan led the Oilers to a pair of wins last week by averaging 24.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game. He also converted 67.9 percent (19-of-28) of his field goal attempts and made 6-of-9 (66.7%) tries from behind the three point line.

Sullivan began the week with 31 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in the Oilers 96-87 win over Walsh and then closed the week with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in Findlay's 89-85 victory against Malone.

The Lima, Ohio native is averaging 18.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for the 9-2 Oilers.
