Oilers Ink Stover to Wrap Up 2018 Class

Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay has added Deven Stover to their 2018 recruiting class.

"We are very excited to add another key piece to our 2018-19 team. Deven will bring several qualities to our program that we believe make him a great fit in our program" commented Oilers' head coach, Charlie Ernst.  "He has great size, strength, and athleticism. He has the versatility to play multiple positions and most importantly he competes hard on and off the floor."

Stover, a 2016 graduate of St. Ignatius High School, comes to Findlay after a redshirt season at Cleveland State. In 2016-17, Stover played at Naval Academy Prep where he led the team in scoring and assists.

In high school, Stover, a 6-5, 210 lb. wing, was a four-year letter winner and was his team's MVP in his junior and senior seasons. As a senior, Stover led his team to a regional final and scored 16.4 points per game, grabbed seven rebounds per game, and dished out four assists per game. That season Stover was named Special Mention All-Ohio by the Associated Press, was a Cleveland.com All Star, and was First Team AP All-Northeast Ohio District.
