White Earns All-Region Honors from NABC

Senior forward Alex White was named first team all-Midwest Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on March 25.

White, who was tabbed the Midwest Region Player of the Year by the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) earlier this month, led the Oilers to a 28-5 record. He averaged 18.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per contest during the 2018-19 campaign. The West Chester, Ohio native was also named first team all-region by the D2CCA, was voted the 2019 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year, earned first team all-conference honors, and was selected to the G-MAC all-defensive team.

White set a new school record for blocks in a season with 59 and also broke the career blocks record at Findlay with 130. His 617 points this season is tied for the eighth-best total in school history and he finishes his career ranked 40th all-time at Findlay with 1,135 points.
