Men's Golf Takes 6th

The University of Findlay men's golf team tied for sixth place at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational, which concluded on Sunday, March 25 at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Indiana.  The Oilers shot a two-round score of 588 (295, 293) as Ferris State University won the event with a 566 (285, 281).

Michael Schmitmeyer led the Oilers by tying for fourth place with a 4-under par score of 140 (71, 69) while Marcus Hunt tied for 13th with an even-par score of 144 (72, 72).

Stephen Sinchok (76, 75 – 151), Jack Kastor (77, 74 – 151), Logan Cooke (76, 78 – 154) and Jake North (77, 77 – 154) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 31 when they compete in the second NCAA Regional of the season in Georgetown, Kentucky.
