Oilers Tied for 18th at Regional

The University of Findlay men's golf team completed the second day of the NCAA Division II Midwest/South Central Regional on Tuesday, May 8 at the Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Mo.

The Oilers shot a 303 on the second day of competition and have totaled a two-day score of 619, which is good for 18th place.

Individually, Logan Cooke leads the team with a score of 149 (77, 72) after two days of competition and is tied for 27th overall.

Michael Schmitmeyer (78, 74 – 152), Marcus Hunt (77, 75 – 152), Stephen Sinchok (84, 83 – 167) and Jake North (87, 82 – 169) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
