Oilers Release Men's Golf Schedule

The University of Findlay men's golf program has released their 2013-14 schedule, highlighted by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship, which will take place on Oct. 5-7 at the Eagle Eye Golf Club in East Lansing, Mich.

The Oilers will open the season on Sept. 3 at the Ohio Dominican Invitational at the Jefferson Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.  They will then travel to Alliance, Ohio to take part in the Malone Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Course on Sept. 13-14 before competing in the Bowling Green John Piper Invitational on Sept. 16-17 at the Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio. 

Findlay competes in the GLIAC Fall Tournament on Sept. 21-22 at the Hawks Head Golf Course in South Haven, Mich and on Sept. 29-30 the Oilers will compete in the first NCAA Division II Regional of the year at the Harborside International Golf Center in Chicago, Ill.  After the event, the Oilers will square off in the GLIAC Championship, which will close their fall season.

The Oilers will open the spring at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational, which is scheduled to be played at the Boone Links Golf Course in Florence, Ky. on March 22-23.  The team will then take part in the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational on March 29-30 at the Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky. before the second NCAA Regional on April 5-6 at the Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Ind.

The GLIAC Spring Tournament will follow the regional event on April 19-20 at the Winding Hollow Country Club in New Albany, Ohio before the NCAA Division II Super Regional is scheduled to begin on May 5 and run through May 7 at a site to be determined.
