Men's Golf Places 4th at Malone

The University of Findlay men's golf team finished fourth at the Malone University Invitational, which concluded on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.

The Oilers, who fired a 308 in the opening round of competition yesterday, came back with a 296 on Saturday to end the tournament with a 604.

Jack Kastor tied for ninth place to lead the team with a 148, turning in score cards of 74 on each day.

Dustin Lieber tied for 14th with a 149 (77, 72) while Marcus Hunt tied for 17th with a 150 (78, 72).

Stephen Sinchok (77, 76 – 153), Matthew Fisher (79, 78 – 157), Chien-Han Sung (78, 79 – 157) and Jake North (81, 79 – 160) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will return to the course again on Sept. 16-17 at the Bowling Green State University John Piper Invitational.  The tournament will be held at the Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio.
