Hunt Tied for 52nd at Super Regional

Senior Marcus Hunt of the Oilers golf team completed the first day of competition at the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Super Regional on May 5 at the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Mo.

Hunt, competing as an individual at the event, shot a 77 in the first round and is tied for 52nd at the tournament.

The senior was even through the first nine holes and then went five over par during the back nine for his total on the day.

The tournament will continue tomorrow and end on Wednesday.
