Oilers Take 3rd at Kyle Rymann Memorial
The University of Findlay men's golf team placed third at the Kyle Rymann Memorial, which concluded on Sep. 7 at Mohawk Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio.
The Oilers shot a two-round score of 600 (298, 302) and were led by senior Jack Kastor, who tied for sixth with a 2-over par score of 146. Kastor achieved his score by shooting a 75 in the opening round before coming back with a 1-under par score of 71 in the second.
Senior Jake North also recorded a top-10 finish and placed ninth with a 3-over par score of 147 (73, 74).
Junior Adam Johnsnon (78, 72 – 150), senior Stephen Sinchok (74, 76 – 150), freshman Justin Roth (74, 77 – 151), junior Dustin Lieber (76, 77 – 153), freshman Cam Wardley (75, 79 – 154), senior Kirby Doidge (83, 78 - 161), sophomore Ty Tweed (82, 80 – 162) and freshman Travis McCann (92, 87 – 179) also competed for Findlay at the event.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Sep. 13-14 at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational.
