Oilers Place 26th at Purgatory

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team tied for 26th at the third NCAA Regional of the season, which concluded on April 13 at the Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Ind.

The Oilers shot a two-round score of 618 (309, 309) and were led by senior Stephen Sinchok, who tied for 78th with a 9-over par score of 153 (77, 76).

Freshman Justin Roth (75, 79 – 154), senior Jack Kastor (79, 77 – 156), freshman Cam Wardley (81, 77 – 158) and junior Adam Johnson (78, 80 – 158) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will hit the links again on April 18-19 at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Spring Tournament. The event is scheduled to be held at the Longaberger Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio.
