Oilers Take 6th at GLIAC Spring Invite

The University of Findlay men's golf team placed sixth at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Spring Invitational, which wrapped on April 19 at the Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

The Oilers fired a 617 (303, 314) during the two-round tournament and were led by junior Dustin Lieber, who tied for sixth with a 150 (71, 79).

Freshman Justin Roth (77, 79 – 156), senior Stephen Sinchok (78, 82 – 160), freshman Cam Wardley (87, 74 – 161), freshman Andrew Stevens (83, 80 – 163), senior Jack Kastor (77, 88 – 165) and junior Adam Johnson (80, 88 – 168) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will now prepare for the NCAA DII Super Regional on May 4-6 at the Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont, Ill.
