Oilers Take 5th at ODU Kickoff Classic

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team kicked off their season by taking fifth at the ODU Kickoff Classic on Sep. 8 at the Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio.

The Oilers finished fifth with a two-round score of 608 (314, 294). They were led by freshman Dylan DeWitt, who tied for tenth with a 149 (78, 71).

Senior Dustin Lieber tied for 17th with a 151 (78, 73) with teammate James Riepenhoff (73, 78), a freshman, while sophomore Justin Roth tied for 25th with a 154 (80, 74).

Freshman Andrew Burns shot a 155 (79, 76) to tie for 28th with sophomore Cam Wardley (77, 78) and senior Kirby Doidge tied for 31st with a 156 (79, 77).

The Oilers will be back in action again on Sep. 20-21 at the GLIAC Fall Tournament in South Haven, Mich.
