Oilers Take Fourth at Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team competed at the Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament hosted by Tiffin University on Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4. The Oilers finished the two-round event in fourth place with a shot total of 626.

Dustin Lieber led the way for Findlay with a 73 on Saturday, which placed him in second place. After a final round 79, the senior found himself in a tie for ninth place with a two-round total of 152.

Junior Christopher Strand shot a 155 (78/77) to finish in T17th while teammates freshman Andrew Bruns (79/77) and sophomore Justin Roth finished (74/82) in a tie for 19th with a 156.

Oilers senior Kirby Doidge shot a 79 on day one and a 78 on day two for his total of 157. That placed him in T23rd for the event.

Also participating in the tournament were sophomore Nicholas Graf (T34, 161), freshman James Riepenhoff (T34, 161), sophomore Cam Wardley (T37, 163), sophomore Ryan Wilburn (T37, 163), and freshman Dylan DeWitt (T39, 164).

The Oilers will be back on the course on Monday, October 19 as they begin the Cedarville Fall Invitational in Dayton, Ohio.
