The University of Findlay men's golf team completed day two of the 2016 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship on April 16 at the Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

The Oilers shot a 303 on day two and are now in 12th place with a 36-hole score of 622 (319, 303). Sophomore Cam Wardley continued his stellar play and is currently in second place at the tournament with a 147. Wardley fired a 74 in the opening round yesterday and then came back with a 1-over par score of 73 in the second round for his total of 147. During the second round, Wardley notched four birdies and nine pars for his total.

Sophomore Justin Roth is also playing well and is tied for 22nd with a 152. Roth opened the tournament with a 78 on Friday and then came back with a 2-over par score of 74 on Saturday.

Freshman Andrew Bruns (84, 77 – 161), senior Dustin Lieber (83, 79 – 162) and freshman Dylan DeWitt (84, 80, 164) are also competing for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will complete the tournament tomorrow.
