Oilers in 8th at NCAA DII Fall Regional
The University of Findlay men's golf team is currently tied for eighth at the NCAA DII Midwest Regional, which wrapped up first round action on Sep. 26 at Harborside International in Calumet City, Ill.
The Oilers ended the opening round of competition with a score of 317 and were led by freshman Luke Kelly, who is tied for third with a 2-over par score of 74. Sophomore Dylan DeWitt is not too far off the pace Kelly set as he carded a 4-over par score of 76 to place him in a tie for 13th.
Junior Cam Wardley is tied for 42nd with an 80 while freshman Sam Griffith is tied for 105th with an 87.
Junior Justin Roth was also scheduled to compete, but did not finish his round.
The 25 teams competing in the regional will take part in the final round of tomorrow.
