The University of Findlay men's golf team tied for fifth at the GLIAC Spring Invitational, which wrapped up second round action on March 28 at the University Club of Kentucky.

The Oilers tied Northern Michigan University for fifth place with a two-round total of 600. The Oilers fired a 297 in the opening round yesterday and then came back with a 303 in the final round.

Freshman Luke Kelly tied for 13th to lead the way as he produced a 3-over par score of 147 (73, 74) at the tournament.

Sophomore Dylan DeWitt tied junior teammate Cam Wardley for 19th as they each posted a 5-over par score of 149. DeWitt shot a 74 in the first round and a 75 in the second. Wardley meanwhile carded a 73 on day one before posting a 76 on Tuesday.

Freshman Cameron Bruce tied for 29th with a 7-over par score of 151 (75, 76) while freshman Sam Griffith was 9-over par at 153 (75, 78), which was good for 39th.

Junior Justin Roth (80, 79 – 159) and freshman Chase Lakari (76, 88 – 164) also competed for Findlay at the event.
