Bay City, MI – On Wednesday, April 26, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) released their annual all-conference teams for men's golf. On that list was University of Findlay freshman, Luke Kelly. Kelly is the first Findlay men's golf all-conference award winner in four years.

In the 2016-17 season, Kelly had a stroke average of 76.67 in 24 rounds of competition. His best score of the year was a two-under, 70 at the Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament in Tiffin on Saturday, October 1. Another of the year's highlights included earning medalist honors in just his third collegiate event. At the NCAA DII Midwest Regional in the fall, Kelly took first place with scores of 74 and 76 and became the first medalist for the Oilers since 2014.
