Eureka, Missouri - The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up play at the 2017 Midwest Regional held at Fox Run in Eureka, MO on Tuesday, October 10. As a team, the Oilers shot a 302 in the final round, 16 shots better than in the first round. Their two day total of 620 placed them in 15th out of 22 teams.

Sophomore Luke Kelly paced Findlay in the event. His second-round 73 gave him a tournament total of 147 (+3), good enough to tie for sixth. Junior Dylan DeWitt finished just five shots behind Kelly, finishing with a 152 (+8) after a 77 on Tuesday. His score placed him in a tie for 31st.

The best round of the day for Findlay belonged to senior Justin Roth who carded an even-par 72, 15 shots better than his first round score. He shot a 159 for the event and finished in a tie for 74th overall.

Sophomore Cameron Bruce and senior Cam Wardley each posted an 80 (+8) in Tuesday's round and finished with scores of 162 and 168, placing in a tie for 84th and a tie for 103rd, respectively.

This was the final event of the fall for the men's team which is now done with competition until March 4-6, 2018 when they participate in the Panther Invitational in Viera, Florida.
