Oilers Take 20th at Regional
The University of Findlay men's golf team placed 20th at the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Region Tournament, which wrapped up on May 9 at the Findlay Country Club.
The Oilers shot a 316 on day three and ended the tournament with a 911 (305, 290, 316). They were led by senior Justin Roth and his 76 on Wednesday. Roth finished the tournament in a tie for 51st with a 224 (75, 73, 76).
Sophomore Luke Kelly and senior Cam Wardley tied for 77th with a 227 as well. Kelly had a 75 in the first round, a 71 in the second and an 81 in the third. Wardley meanwhile had a 78 in rounds one and three sandwiched between a 71 in round two.
Junior Dylan DeWitt tied for 100th with a 233 (77, 75, 81) while sophomore Cameron Bruce tied for 106th with a 239 (81, 75, 83).
