Miller Accepts Head Coach Position at Tiffin

Findlay, Ohio - University of Findlay Assistant Golf Coach Jake Miller will be resigning from his position at Findlay as he has accepted a position as Head Men's Golf Coach and Coordinator of Athletic Fundraising at Tiffin University. He will begin at Tiffin on July 1.

"While I am sad to be leaving this great school, I am excited to step into my new role as head coach for the Dragons", said Miller. "I want to thank Dominic Guarnieri for the opportunity he has given me over the past three seasons to lead the Oilers. I would also like to thank Brandi Laurita and everyone in the athletic department at Findlay for welcoming me into their Oiler family since day one. I wish both men's and women's teams nothing but success in the future."

In his brief time at Findlay, Miller, who began at Findlay as a graduate assistant in 2016, has helped coach the Oilers' men's and women's golf teams to a total of three conference championships - women in 2017 and 2018 / men in 2018 - and has coached players to 15 all-conference awards, four all-region awards, one all-American honor, and multiple school/conference records.

"Jake has been an invaluable asset to the golf program and our department", commented Director of Athletics, Brandi Laurita. "While it is tough to see him go, his sucess as a coach and knowledge of the game of golf made this day inevitable and we wish him success as he takes over the men's program at Tiffin."

The search for Miller's replacement will begin immediately.
