Oilers Finish 5th at SVSU Invite

Results

The University of Findlay men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational, which concluded on March 17 at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky. The Oilers shot 36-hole score of 579 (283, 296), the fourth-lowest in school history.

Freshman Caleb Westfall led the Oilers and tied for 12th with a 2-under par score of 142. He posted a 71 in each of his rounds during the tournament.

Freshman Tanner Grzegorczyk tied for 31st with a 2-over par score of 146 (69, 77) while sophomore Brock Kehres tied for 38th with a 3-over par score of 147 (73, 74).

Sophomore Parker Haynes was 4-over at 148 (75, 73), junior Luke Kelly was 5-over at 149 (68, 81), and senior Dylan DeWitt was 9-over par at 153 (78, 75).
