Oilers Look to Capture Another Tournament Win | Hold 4 Stroke Lead Heading to Final Round

Allendale, Michigan ­– Just a few days after their season opening victory at the Ohio Cup, the University of Findlay men`s golf team were back in action at the Don Underwood Invitational at the Meadows. The Oilers shot a 36-hole score of 576 (288, 288) and currently lead the field.

In the first round, the Oilers were led by sophomore duo Caleb Westfall and Tanner Grzegorczyk. The pair each shot an even-par 71 for the Oilers.

Along with Westfall and Grzegorcyzk, Luke Kelly and Parker Haynes each shot a 73 (+2) in the first round while Sam Griffith finished with a 74 (+3).

Hunter Foltz competed as an individual at the tournament and posted a 1-under par score of 70 as well.

Westfall, who won the Ohio Cup over the weekend, posted a 2-under par score of 69 in the second round and leads the tournament with a 140. Kelly also played well in the second round as he fired a 1-under par score of 70 and is tied for sixth overall with a 143.

Griffith (74, 74 - 148), Haynes (73, 75 - 148), and Grzegorczyk (71, 77 - 148) are all tied for 20th at the tournament after 36 holes as well.

Foltz continued his solid play as an individual in round two as he posted a 72 and is tied for fourth overall with a 142.
