Bio

Jacob Miller is entering his third year as an assistant coach for the Oilers golf team during the 2017-18 campaign.

Miller came to Findlay from Marshall University where he played and spent one semester as an assistant coach.

As a player, Miller competed on Marshall's varsity golf team in each of his four seasons. During his senior season, he competed in 11 tournaments and had a scoring average of 76.32. His best career finish came at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational where he finished fifth overall. 

Before attending Marshall, Miller played his high school golf at Watkins Memorial where he amassed a scoring average of 73.5. During his four years, he was named first time all-conference, first team all-district, and was runner-up in a qualifier for the American Junior Golf Association tournament. He also won the Plantation Jr. Tour event held at Michigan State and won the Southern Ohio PGA Jr. tournament.

Miller's home town is Pataskala, Ohio.
