Just 72 hours after The University of Findlay fell to Tiffin, the Oilers returned the favor by holding off the Dragons by the final score of 1-0 on Wednesday, Oct. 5 in Tiffin, Ohio.
After managing eight shots in the first half, the Oilers hard work finally paid off in the 51st minute when freshman Cullen Baron found the back of the net off a cross from Chris Bailer.
Findlay's defense took over for the remainder of the game as Matthew Brooks stopped all six shots he faced from between the posts.
The win gives the Oilers a 2-7-1 record on the season with a 1-5-1 mark in GLIAC play.
Findlay's next match will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Oakland City.
