The University of Findlay men's soccer team chalked up their third road win of the year defeating Oakland City University 1-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 11 in Oakland City, Indiana.
Sophomore Alex Oliver scored the game's only goal on a cross from Shane McGee in the seventh minute.
From there, the Oilers defense took over, forcing junior goal keeper Matthew Brookes to face only three shots on goal.
The non-conference victory gives Findlay a 3-7-1 overall record on the year.
The Oilers will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 14 when they travel to Urbana. The match is slated for a 4 p.m. start time.
