Oilers Fall To Urbana 4-2

The University of Findlay Oilers were defeated by Urbana University by the score of 4-2 on Friday, Oct. 14 in Urbana, Ohio.

After two Urbana goals in the first 15 minutes of the game, Findlay's Nick Naayers scored on a back heel pass from Cullen Baron in the goal box to put the Oilers on the board in the 39th minute.

A comeback looked evident as Alex Oliver tied the score at two in the 55th minute off assists from Teddy Greschel and Baron.  However, Urbana would pull ahead in the 69th minute and tack another goal on in the 86th minute for the 4-2 win.

Despite allowing four goals, keeper Matthew Brooks recorded eight saves for the Oilers.

The non conference loss gives Findlay an overall record of 3-8-1 on the season.

The Oilers travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on Ohio Dominican on Sunday, Oct. 16 in their next matchup.
