Sleasman Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Freshman Mark Sleasman of the Oilers men's soccer team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Week on Monday, Sep. 10.

Sleasman led the Oilers to a pair of wins last week as he scored the game-winning goals in 2-1 wins over Urbana University and Ohio Dominican University. 

In the win over Urbana on Friday, Sleasman scored the game-winner with only 23 ticks remaining in overtime.  He then scored early in the second half against Ohio Dominican on Sunday to give Findlay a 2-1 lead, which would prove to be the difference in the game.

Sleasman is tied for the team-lead with two goals thus far and has helped the Oilers post a 3-0 record on the year.
