The University of Findlay men's soccer team was defeated at Malone University by the score of 1-0 on Sunday, Sept. 30 in Canton, Ohio.
It took nearly the entire game but Malone finally broke the tie with a goal in the 75th minute to solidify the win.
Findlay dominated in scoring opportunities, outshooting Malone 18-10, and putting six shots on goal.
Matthew Brooks took his fourth loss of the season between the pipes, recording one save in the contest.
With the loss, the Oilers drop to 4-5-0 on the season with a 2-5-0 mark in GLIAC play. They will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 5 when the travel to Notre Dame to take on the Falcons.
