Oilers Lose 2-0 to Ohio Dominican

The University of Findlay men's soccer team lost to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Ohio Dominican University 2-0 on Friday, October 4 at DeHaven Field. 

The Panthers jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Nigel Patterson scored unassisted at the 27 minute mark. 

The Panthers extended their lead when Frazer Fernandes scored at the 65 minute mark.  His goal was assisted by Jakob Szabo. 

Findlay goalkeeper Joe McClanahan took the loss in the net and had five saves in the process. 

The panthers had the edge offensively with a 7-4 advantage in the corner kick department. 

The Oilers, who are now 2-6-1 on the year with a 0-6 mark in GLIAC play, will face GLIAC foe Malone University on Sunday, October 6 at DeHaven Field at 3 p.m.
