The University of Findlay men's soccer team suffered a tough loss against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) rival Lake Erie College 3-2 on Sunday, October 12 at DeHaven Field. 

The Storm jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Cory Buccur scored at the 11 minute mark. 

The Oilers tied up the contest when junior Mark Sleasman scored off of an assist from junior Jordan Gozelski at the 20 minute mark. 

Lake Erie regained the lead when Joseph Munaretto scored at the 56 minute mark. 

The Oilers bounced back and tied it up again when Gozelski scored unassisted at the 66 minute mark. 

Lake Erie delivered a crushing blow when they scored the game-winning goal during the final minute of the contest. 

Findlay goalkeeper Joe McClanahan took the loss in the net and had four saves in the process. 

Lake Erie had edge offensively with a 12-10 advantage in shots and a 8-4 advantage in corner kicks. 

The Oilers, who are now 3-9 on the season with a 2-7 mark in GLIAC play, return to the field on Friday, October 17 when they face GLIAC foe Walsh University at DeHaven Field.
