Oilers Season Ends With Loss To Dragons

The University of Findlay men's soccer team finished their season with a 2-1 loss against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) rival Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio on Friday, October 31. 

The Dragons jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Cedric Bruce-Kotey scored at the 40 minute mark.  His goal was assisted by Michael McPeek. 

The Dragons extended their lead when McPeek scored at the 49 minute mark. 

The Oilers got on the board when junior Jordan Gozelski scored at the 63 minute mark.  His goal was assisted by junior Mark Sleasman

Findlay goalkeeper Joe McClanahan took the loss in the net and made 11 saves in the contest.

The Dragons dominated offensively with a 24-9 advantage in shots, which led to their 2-1 victory. 

The Oilers season has come to a close and they finished with a overall record of 4-13 and a 3-11 record in the GLIAC.
