2015 GLIAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll

The University of Findlay men's soccer team, coming off of a 4-13 season, was picked to finish sixth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) this season as the league office released their annual preseason poll on Aug. 20.

The Oilers, who are under the guidance of head coach Andy Smyth, received 17 votes in the poll. Northwood was picked as the favorite with 44 votes while Tiffin was right behind them with 43 votes.

Senior Mark Sleasman will be back after being named second team all-conference in 2014. He tied for the team-lead with five goals and also had a team-high three assists. Sleasman was a first team all-conference selection in 2013.

Senior Jordan Gozelski and sophomore Ryan Husband will also return to provide some firepower as they recorded five and four goals, respectively, last season for the Oilers.

Senior Veselin Panchev, who tied for the team-lead with three assists last year, will also return. He added two goals as well in 2014.
