The University of Findlay men's soccer team lost 6-0 to Northwood University on Sep. 27 in Midland, Michigan. The loss gives the Oilers a 3-4 record on the season with a 2-3 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
Northwood scored twice in the first half giving a halftime score of 0-2. Senior captain Ryan Repas had the men's first attempt on goal with a shot in the 48th-minute of play. Freshman Nathan Wililams and sophomore Adam Naayers also had shots on goal for the Oilers.
The Timberwolves gained another 4 goals in the second half to bring the final score to 6-0. This win brings Northwood's record to 4-1-0 in the GLIAC.
The men's next match is home at DeHaven Field on Oct. 1 against Walsh University at 4pm.
