All-GLIAC Awards Announced

2015 All-GLIAC Awards

Freshman Michael Shaikly was tabbed the 2015 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Freshman of the Year as the league office unveiled their annual postseason awards on Nov. 6.

Shaikly ended his first season at Findlay with three goals and a team-high seven assists, the fourth-best total in the GLIAC. He finished the year with 13 total points and also chipped in a pair of game-winning goals.

In addition, senior Mark Sleasman earned second team all-conference accolades. Sleasman led the Oilers with 11 goals and also accumulated three assists. He scored five game-winning goals for the Oilers this year, the second-best mark in the GLIAC. His 11-goal season was also the third-best mark in the league during the 2015 campaign.

Freshman Andrew Austria also earned honorable mention all-league status after starting 15 games in 2015. He ended the year with one assist.
