Oilers Slayed by Dragons

Findlay, OH-The University of Findlay men's soccer team was slayed by the Tiffin University Dragons 4-0 Sunday, September 18th at DeHaven Field.  This loss gives the Oilers a 2-4 overall record and a 1-3 conference record.

In the first two minutes of the game, the Dragons capitalized on a goal from inside the box to take the 1-0 lead early on. 

The Oilers defense kept the Dragons out of the net for the rest of the half, ending the half with the Dragons up 1-0. 

Fourteen minutes into the second half, the Dragons capitalized again from the top of the box to make the score 2-0 in favor of Tiffin.

With fifteen minutes left in the game, Tiffin slotted the ball in the back of the net from inside the six, making Tiffin lead the game 3-0.

With four minutes left to go in the match, Tiffin scored off of a shot from outside the box, making the final score of the game 4-0 in favor of the Dragons.

The Oilers will take the pitch again on Sunday, September 25 at 12:00pm at DeHaven Field against Northern Michigan.
