Shaikly Named 1st Team All-GLIAC

All-GLIAC

Michael Shaikly, a sophomore on the Oilers soccer team, was named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) on Nov. 3.

Shaikly led the Oilers with 15 points this season. He led the squad with five assists and tied for the team-lead with five goals. Three of his goals were game-winners, the most of any Oilers player during the 2016 campaign.

In addition, freshman Kegan Winkler was tabbed honorable mention all-conference. Winkler finished his first season with the team by starting 16 games. He scored one goal.
