Oilers Picked 8th in Great Midwest

The University of Findlay men's soccer team was picked to finish eighth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season as the league office unveiled their preseason coaches poll on Aug. 17.

The Oilers received 50 points in the poll and Alderson Broaddus was picked as the favorite to win the conference with 104 points and six first place votes.

Findlay finished with a 7-10-1 record last year, their final season as a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Junior Josh Burton returns after scoring a team-high five goals in 2016 while senior Peyton Schroeder is also back after contributing three goals and an assist for Findlay last year.
