Tiffin, OH – The University of Findlay men's soccer team played their last regular season game and took a loss to the Tiffin Dragons on Tuesday, October 23. The final score was 0-4. The Oilers finish the season with a 5-11-1 record and 5-8-1 in conference play. The Dragons improve to 13-4-0 on the season and 11-3-0 in conference play.
The first half was dominated by the Dragons, as they had nine shots to the Oiler's one. Tiffin was able to score four times in the first half to gain a big lead on the Oilers.
The Oilers had two shots in the second half, but that wasn't enough compared to Tiffin's 11. Neither team scored in the second half which led to the Oilers taking the 0-4 loss to the Dragons.
Senior Josh Burton had two shots and freshman Jon Kramer had one.
Senior Nathan Sier took the loss in net and had one save on the day. Freshman Nathanael Yoder also played in net for the Oilers, and made three saves.
