Collette Named 1st Team All-GLIAC

Senior Kyle Collette of The University of Findlay men's tennis team was named First Team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) on Wednesday, April 20 for the third consecutive season.

Collette, the 2008 GLIAC Freshman of the Year, finished the year ranked first in the league with a 13-3 mark in #1 singles competition. He also sported a 12-6 mark in #1 doubles competition, the best in the GLIAC.

In addition, senior David Brooks was tabbed honorable mention all-conference after capturing a pair of singles victories on the season.

Northwood University swept the awards as Antoine Panguad earned the honor of Player of the Year, Valentin Bayle was tabbed the Freshman of the Year and Zane Colestock was selected as the Coach of the Year.
