Ringlstetter Earns 1st Team All-GLIAC Honors

UF senior Manuel Ringlstetter was named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for his performance during the 2014 campaign on April 29.

Ringlstetter, a #1 singles player for the Oilers, finished the year with a 12-6 record in dual matches.  He also teamed with junior Robin Semal to post a 16-3 record in #1 doubles dual matches.

Semal was also rewarded for his efforts on the court and earned second team all-conference accolades.  He recorded 16-2 record in dual singles matches on the year.

Ringlstetter and Semal also won an ITA Doubles Championship in the fall in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Additionally, sophomore John Kidd was tabbed honorable mention all-conference with a 7-9 record in dual singles matches.  He also had an 11-7 mark in doubles events.

All three individuals helped the Oilers finish second at the 2014 GLIAC Tournament, their highest finish ever.
