Oilers Defeat Rockets 3-2

The University of Findlay men's tennis team won a shortened match against NCAA Division I foe, the University of Toledo, on March 20 in Findlay.

The Oilers lost both of their doubles matches, but won all three singles matches to claim a 3-2 victory over the Rockets.

Robin Semal claimed a 2-1 win (2-6, 7-6, 6-3) over Omar Espinosa before Oriol Ferrer won 2-1(3-6, 6-0, 6-2) against Stephen Miller. John Kidd then scored a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Garrett Cona.

The Oilers will return to action again on March 21 when they face Ferris State University. The contest is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in Big Rapids, Mich.
