Lakers Slip by Oilers 6-3

The University of Findlay men's tennis team lost 6-3 against Grand Valley State University on March 22 at the Ramblewood Tennis and Health Club in Grandville, Mich.

The loss gives the Oilers a 7-5 record on the season with a 2-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Robin Semal and John Kidd were responsible for all of the Oilers wins in the match.  Semal won #1 singles by a score of 7-5, 6-4 and then teamed with Kidd to win #1 doubles by an 8-4 margin. Kidd also scored a 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 11-9 win in #3 singles action.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 28 when they travel to Midland, Mich. to face Northwood University at 10 a.m.
