Bulldogs Claim 7-2 Win over Oilers

The University of Findlay men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss at home to Ferris State University on Saturday, March 19.

The Oilers, who are now 6-6 on the year with a 0-1 record in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), were led by John Kidd and Oriol Ferrer, who both picked up singles wins.

Kidd came away with a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Ferris State's Vasil Surkuk, who is ranked third in the Midwest Region. Ferrer meanwhile posted a 6-1, 7-5 over the Bulldogs Till von Winning, the fifth-ranked player in the Midwest Region.

The Oilers will return to the court again tomorrow when they host Grand Valley State University at 10 am in the YMCA East.
