Kidd, Ferrer Named 1st Team All-GLIAC

Senior John Kidd and sophomore Oriol Ferrer were both named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as the league office unveiled their annual men's tennis awards on May 1.

Kidd posted a 17-8 record in singles competition on the season and had a hand in 19 wins during doubles competition.  He was 6-3 in #1 singles action during GLIAC competition and went 16-7 on the year in the top singles position.

Kidd was an honorable mention all-conference pick last year for the Oilers.

Ferrer posted a 15-5 record for the Oilers this season in singles competition and also racked up another 16 victories in doubles competition. He went 7-2 in #2 singles action during league contests as well.

In addition, freshman Carlos Blanco earned honorable mention all-conference accolades for Findlay. He went 11-14 in singles competition during his first season and also posted 11 wins in doubles competition.
