Blanco Named Great Midwest Player of the Week

Senior Carlos Blanco was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Oct. 3.

Blanco posted a perfect 2-0 record in No. 1 singles action and also had a 2-0 mark in No. 1 doubles competition last week. He scored a 6-0, 6-2 win over Tate Schoen of Heidelberg and a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Shawnee State's Nick Johnson in singles action and teamed with senior Nicholas Kopylec to score a pair of wins in doubles.
